THE DEVOTION OF SUSPECT X ~week 3~

     Thank you for reading my blog!!      Today I'm going talk about the contents and some new character. I keep reading the book I chose, and some new characters appeared in. They are detective, Kusanagi and Kishitani. After the body was found, they started to investigate this murder case. The police had compared everything they knew about the victim to the missing persons list, but they were unable to find even the thinnest thread connecting. Finally, they found a man who stayed at the rental room had gone missing on March 11, the day the body was found. The man's personal belongings in the room were matched with those on the body perfectly. The police found the victim was Shinji Togashi. Of course they knew his ex-wife, Yasuko Hanaoka, and they visited her house to ask some questions. She pretended she doesn't know anything at all. What will they do from now on?          I’d like to write my blog about the book I’m reading, “ THE DEVOTION OF SUSPECT X ” written by Keigo Higashino, translated by Alexander O. Smith with Elye J. Alexander.      This book has sold over 2 million copies in Japan and has been made into a film. Especially, this time I’ll describe the setting.      This story is about fateful confrontation of two genius, Ishigami and Yukawa. The story begins Ishigami and Yasuko’s usual life in Tokyo. Ishigami is very talented math teacher, who lives next door to Yasuko and her daughter Misato. Yasuko has ex-husband, Togashi. They divorced and spent other life, however one day Togashi showed up in front of Yasuko and Misato. Then the situation escalated into violence, and he was killed by them.      Hello, I'm Ai Inokubo. I'm from Nara, but I live in Kyoto now, because when I was a junior high school student I moved to Kizugawa city in Kyoto. I lived Nara for about 14 years since I was born, so I really like Nara. Nara is not a large city, but there are many historical buildings and people are very kind.      I went a high school in Nara and when I was in high school, I went to Australia on school trip. Then I thought I want to be able to speak English well and I want to know about foreign cultures. So, I chose this course of college.      I like to listening music such as Celine Dion, Bruno Mars and so on.Also I like watching comedy and Youtube in my free time.
